1. Check if you can use the Graduate route
After you finish some UK courses, you may be able to stay and work under the Graduate route. It is important to know early if this route is open to you.
What to do: Read the Graduate visa overview on GOV.UK and the UKCISA guidance to see which courses and visa histories are eligible. Compare their rules with your own course, university and visa dates.
What do you need: You need your course details, your current visa information and your university name.
Outcomes: You will know whether you can plan to stay under the Graduate route or if you must look at other options.
Lifehack: If something is not clear, note your questions and ask your university international team for a simple explanation.
2. Apply for the Graduate Visa (If Eligible)
3. Plan a switch to Skilled Worker if relevant
