1. Collect your BRP card if you were told to
Some people still need to collect a Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) after they arrive. If you forget, it can cause problems when you prove your status.
What to do: Read the GOV.UK BRP guidance to remind yourself where and when to collect your card. Use the Post Office branch finder or your university instructions to go to the correct place within the time limit on your decision letter.
What do you need: You need your passport, decision letter, and the address or branch name where your BRP is waiting.
Outcomes: You will have your BRP card in your hands, which helps with some checks until you move fully to eVisa.
