1. Create a UKVI Account for your eVisa
Many people with an eVisa do not receive a physical visa card. A UKVI online account is the main way to view and prove your permission in the United Kingdom.
What to do: Open the GOV.UK get access to eVisa page and follow the steps to create or finish setting up your UKVI account. Add your identity document, set a secure password and test that you can sign in.
What do you need: You need your passport or other identity document, your visa decision letter and an email address and phone number you can access.
Outcomes: You will have a working UKVI account that lets you view your eVisa and create share codes when you need them.
Lifehack: Use an email address you plan to keep for many years so you do not lose access to your status in the future.
